As the proud Chairman of Rupsha Group and Rupsha Overseas Ltd—pioneers and trusted names in Bangladesh’s recruitment industry—I have dedicated my life’s work to empowering our workforce and uplifting our national economy.

Beyond my business endeavours, I have had the honour of serving as President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and as a Member of Parliament representing Khulna. These roles have deeply rooted my commitment to national development and community service. I was also elected President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for the 2002–2004 term, leading regional cricket development with distinction. From 2001 to 2006, I proudly represented Bangladesh on the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board, helping to elevate our presence on the global stage.

Inspired by the legacy of my beloved late parents, I established the Saleha Hafez Foundation—a beacon of hope dedicated to serving the poor, underprivileged, and voiceless in Khulna and beyond.

My pioneering journey spans diverse sectors including garments, textiles, aviation, and logistics—industries where I’ve contributed significantly to Bangladesh’s global economic presence.

In aviation, I successfully held General Sales Agent (GSA) rights for Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector, covering both passenger and cargo services, as well as for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), enhancing connectivity and trade opportunities. Additionally, I represented the globally renowned HECNY GROUP, based in Hong Kong, as a joint venture cargo sales agent—further strengthening Bangladesh’s role in international freight and logistics.

Today, as Bangladesh’s labour force reaches a remarkable 77.77 million—with many still seeking opportunities—I see immense, untapped potential. Our nation’s greatest asset is its resilient, hardworking people. Through strategic global engagement and visionary manpower initiatives, we can transform unemployment into a source of strength—positioning Bangladesh as a powerhouse in the global labour market.
